The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan held talks in the form of a video conference with the president of the Japanese company Balcom Co. Ltd Tetsuro Yamasaka.

During the conversation, the parties discussed a number of promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.

Among them are the creation of a private school in Namangan region, the establishment of a technical training center on the basis of the branch of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, investment in the restaurant business in Namangan, the supply of fresh and processed Uzbek fruits and vegetables to the Japanese market and the organization of tourist trips to Uzbekistan.

The Japanese side was told about the situation with coronavirus in Uzbekistan, as well as measures taken by the government to curb the spread of infection. It was emphasized that enterprises and companies are gradually resuming their activities in the country, while ensuring all measures to prevent the re-spread of coronavirus.

Tetsuro Yamasaka confirmed his interest in implementing the above projects and expressed his willingness to visit Uzbekistan as the situation with the spread of coronavirus in Japan improves.
